What a charming experience! I loved sipping real ale served straight from the barrel and enjoying the home-cooked food, all while reminiscing about simpler times in a cozy, time-worn atmosphere.

Charming country escape
My partner and I made a pit stop here en route to Scotland. The location is just stunning, right by a village green with views of the Dales. The rooms have a nostalgic vibe, and Steve, the owner, was super friendly. Loved the cozy dining, and the packed lunches were fab! Just wish there were ensuite options for the rooms.

We had an amazing time enjoying the cozy four-poster bed and the delicious Steak Pudding with mash and gravy. There are peaceful walks right outside the door and a lovely spot to unwind with a drink by the fire. The only drawback was the slow Wi-Fi, but honestly, who needs that in such a beautiful location? 😊

Charming and Cozy Stay
I had a delightful stay in a charming country pub with an inviting atmosphere. The location in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales is simply stunning, and the antique decor adds a lovely rustic charm that feels timeless. Breakfast was a highlight, offering delicious home-cooked options that warmed the heart. The only downside was the lack of ensuite facilities, but the shared bathrooms were well-maintained and clean.

Fantastic Family Pub Experience
The hospitality was great and the staff really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We also enjoyed the hearty breakfast, really hit the spot after a night of fun.
It wasn't exactly economical but you know what? It was still fine for what you get.

The King Room was cozy but kind of drafty due to the old sash windows. The bed was really comfy though! The decor had that charming, old-world vibe, which was fun. Just a heads up, the shared bathrooms could use a bit more attention. it felt a bit rustic but had a nice vibe to chill after a long day.

The stay was cozy and charming, perfect for relaxing after hiking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. The rustic decor and friendly vibe made it a welcoming place to unwind. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and appreciated the comfortable bed in my room. Having shared conveniences didn't bother me, as it added to the character of the place. A small suggestion would be to offer some breakfast options for early risers.
